No Internet Connection

There are different situations that may result in loss of Internet to a certain device. It it important to determine if it’s all devices without Internet or only a particular device. The points below will help you determine which device(s) is without Internet and how to resolve the problem.

  • Check the print queue by going to the Manager PC and then Start -> Devices and Printers -> find your printer -> right click your printer and choose “see what’s printing”.

  • In the print queue it will tell you if there are documents printing and they will have a status such as “paused” or “error.” Highlight each item -> right click -> choose “pause” -> once all items are paused -> right click each item and cancel the print job.

  • Another thing to check when printing make sure you are printing to the correct device. From the application make sure you aren’t printing to file or to a FAX version of the printer.

  • Windows has a built in troubleshooting option to help fix printer issues: Select your printer by going to Start -> Devices and Printers -> find your printer -> right click your printer and click Troubleshoot. This will take you through the Windows diagnostic steps for the printer and can guide you a possible solution.
