POS Displays System Closed

If your POS workstations displays the message “System Closed”, this means the micros database if off. To resolve this issue follow these steps:

  1. Switch over to the micros computer using the KVM switch button the manager desk

  2. Find the MICROS Control Panel icon on the desktop (see Image 1) and double click it.

  3. Ensure the “Restaurant” text is highlighted and then select “Front of House” (see Image 2).

  4. This will bring the POS back online and allow orders to be taken again.
