POS Displays System Closed
If your POS workstations display the message “System Closed”, this means the micros database if off or Micros PC in BOH is not Powered ON. To resolve this issue follow these steps:
Check the MICROS PC is POWERED ON in BOH if not then POWER It ON (see Image 1)
(Once you confirmed that MICROS PC is already POWERED ON and still showing SYSTEM CLOSED on POS then follow below steps)
Switch over to the micros computer using the KVM switch button the manager desk
Find the MICROS Control Panel icon on the desktop (see Image 2) and double-click it.
Ensure the “Restaurant” text is highlighted and then select “Front of House” (see Image 3).
This will bring the POS back online and allow orders to be taken again.
